Field of activity

Facing Finance is a German non-governmental organization that aims to identify companies worldwide that massively and continuously violate and profit from internationally recognized norms and standards in the areas of human and labor rights, environmental and climate protection, corruption and armaments. Based on this information, Facing Finance demands from financial service providers, institutional and private investors, bank and insurance clients that companies that profit from the above mentioned violations of international norms and standards are no longer (unconditionally) financed and removed from investment portfolios. In addition, Facing Finance promotes the embedding of robust sustainability criteria in capital investment.

Responsibilities:

You will support Facing Finance’s engagement in analytical data work and thematic research activities, take over general administrative tasks and answering inquiries, translate and edit texts, and help plan and prepare campaigns, press conferences, and events.

The job can be full- or part-time, so it is possible to do an internship alongside your studies and during lectures.

Duration of the internship: 2-6 months (working hours by arrangement)

Humanities, Economics and Social Sciences; we are happy to accept applications from other disciplines as well, an interest in political, economic contexts and support for the SDGs are important.

Payment:

Unfortunately, we can only offer compulsory internships or voluntary internships that are relevant to training, and we pay expense allowances for these. We are currently working hard to find sponsors to finance the interns in accordance with the Minimum Wage Act.
