Saudi Aramco is the state owned petroleum and chemicals company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2013, their daily crude production was 9.4 million barrels per day.1 Saudi Arabia and thus Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest holder of proved oil crude reserves (16% of global reserves)2 and was the largest exporter of petroleum liquids in 2013. With most of Saudi Arabia’s largest oil projects nearing completion, it is now expanding its natural gas, refining, petrochemicals and electric power industries.
