Saudi Aramco: Bribery and Reporting on corruption

In 2012, Saudi Aramco was implicated in a bribery case related to Swiss based company Tyco1.

According to a report by Transparency International on the transparency of oil and gas companies in 2011, Saudi Aramco scored poorly. The company ranked Saudi Aramco 36th out of 44 companies in terms of ‘reporting on anti-corruption’2.
