The Government Pension Fund of Norway’s blacklist has been expanded to include 5 additional companies due to ethical concerns. The exclusion of WTK Holdings Berhad, Ta Ann Holdings Berhad, Zijin Mining Group and Volcan Compañia Minera from the investment universe was justified by referring to environmental damages. Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd. is accused of contributing to the worst forms of child labor. The pension fund is widely seen as a role model for ethical investment and transparency. German pension funds, on the other hand, do not publish or comment on their investment strategy at all.
