Greenpeace Links Procter & Gamble to “Dirty” Palm Oil Operations in Indonesia

After a yearlong investigation of Procter & Gamble’s supply chains, Greenpeace determined that P&G products contribute to climate change, tropical biodiversity loss, and a decline in the region’s endangered species. According to the report, P&G, consuming 460,000 tons of palm oil annually, is one of the largest consumers of palm oil in the world. Though P&G is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), less than 10% of its palm oil comes from sustainable sources.   ... →
