Internship at FACING FINANCE – Berlin office

Line of activities:
FACING FINANCE is a German non-governmental organisations aiming at the identification of companies that profit from breaching norms and standards concerning human- and labour rights, environmental protection controversial weapons and corruption.
From here, the campaign sensitizes institutional, public and private investors to respect ethical, social and sustainable standards in their investments, and further calls for the implementation of effective standards within the institutions themselves.
Finally, the investors are called upon to stop any financial deal (shareholding, issuance of bonds or shares, credits and loans) with companies that do not comply with these norms and standards.

Responsibilities:
You support the campaign by conducting research and by analysing data. You are also concerned with general administrative tasks and the response of enquiries. You translate and revise text and assist with the planning and preparation of activities, press conferences and other events.

The internship can both be full- or part-time, along with university courses.
Duration: 2-6 months (working hours as agreed upon)

Requirements:
– good knowledge of English and German, spoken and written
– good knowledge of common IT programs (word, excel, powerpoint, html)
– experience with wordpress, web- and graphic design are desirable
– flexible and independent working style

Specializations: humanities, economics and social sciences.
We are open to applications from other disciplines; essential is the interest in political and economic links and the support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
