Wal-Mart: Poor labour conditions in garment supply chain / Indonesia

In Indonesia, in a two day public hearing, a jury of the Indonesian People’s Tribunal established that there was evidence of ‘systemic violation of the fundamental right to life lived with human dignity’ in the Indonesian garment industry and pressed for urgent action by companies such as Walmart. Walmart did not make a statement1.
