Coal India: Protest of tribal people; child labour

Tribal members fiercly demonstrated in the Dhanbad province against Bharat Coking Coal mining, a subsidiary of Coal India1, amongst many others.

In 2010, an investigation by the Haq Centre for Child Rights found children working in CIL’s mining pits in Hazaribagh2.
