Anglo American: Retaliation Against Union Leaders in Chile

Anglo American’s joint venture with Xstrata and Mitsui & Co at the Collahuasi mine in Chile proved very controversial. Over twenty labour unions accused the companies of serious  acts of retaliation against union leaders following a series of strikes.[1]
